About our Products
What types of produce does The Village Pantry offer?
We offer a wide variety of fresh, seasonal produce — from organic vegetables and fruits to free-range eggs, raw honey, pantry staples, and artisan goods.
Are all our products organic?
All fresh produce is organic and naturally grown. We work with local farmers and suppliers who share our commitment to chemical-free, sustainable agriculture wherever possible.
With the non-perishables you may find a non-organic option or two.
Where is your produce sourced from?
We source directly from trusted, local farms as local as possible to ensure freshness, quality, and minimal food miles.
Do you stock free-range or grass-fed meats?
Yes, we offer ethically raised, free-range and grass-fed meats when in season and available. Keep an eye on our online store or follow us on Instagram for restocks.
Do you offer vegan, gluten-free, or sugar-free products?
Absolutely! We stock a carefully curated range of health-conscious alternatives — all clearly labelled for your convenience.
Shopping & Orders
How do I place an order?
Simply browse our online store, add items to your cart, and check out securely. You’ll receive a confirmation email once your order is placed.
When will I receive my order
As everything is harvest to order we work according to cut-off days/ times.
Anything ordered before Monday 8am will be ready on Tuesday.
Anything ordered before Wednesday 8am will be ready on Thursday.
What payment methods do you accept?
We accept all major credit/debit cards and EFT via our secure online checkout.
We accept cash on collection too but do not carry change.
Is there a minimum order for delivery?
No minimum order is required, but we only deliver between Milnerton to Melkbosstrand at present.
Can I customise my order or request specific items?
We do our best to accommodate requests! Use the “Order Notes” field at checkout or contact us directly.
Delivery Info
Where do you deliver?
We currently deliver between Melkbos and Milnerton, with expanding routes weekly. Check our delivery page for the latest info.
When will my order be delivered?
Orders placed before 8am Monday are delivered the next day (Tuesday).
Orders placed before 8am Wednesday are delivered the next day (Tuesday).
We'll notify you of your delivery being on its way via whatsapp
How is my order packaged?
We prefer to package your produce into our handmade wooden crates.
This both keeps your produce safe and fresh and ensures we keep packaging to a minimum.
How does your returnable crate system work?
Simply pay a deposit of R250 and all your produce will be supplied in one of our beautiful wooden crates.
Simply hold on to it until your next order where you can swop it out for a new one.
When you no longer want to order simply return your packaging for a full refund.

Eating seasonally means fresher produce, better taste, and improved nutritional value — all while supporting local farms.

Organic produce is grown naturally without chemicals, preserving soil health and biodiversity.

Yes! Whole, mineral-rich foods (like potassium-packed coconut water or leafy greens) support adrenal health and hydration, especially under stress.
Is your packaging eco-friendly?
We’re committed to reducing plastic waste and use recyclable or compostable materials wherever possible.
Policies & Support
What’s your return policy?
If you’re not satisfied with any item, please contact us within 24 hours of delivery. We’ll gladly contact the supplier and facilitate a remedy.
